Went to New York this past weekend for Kara's 26th birthday.  Spent it with her friends and family and just had a good time.  Came back and was exhausted but it was all worth it.

Me and the lovely birthday girl.

Also thanks to Sue and Justin who let us stay over at their place.

And to Monica and Jin (Not Pictured) who let us stay at their place too.

Also Chloe who kept me comfy and warm most nights.

And as luck would have it my good buddy Gilmer was able to join us for one night.

We also spent time with her cousins John and Inho and their families.  Here is a photo of Davin, just about the cutest little kid on the planet.  (Sylvia your kids are cute too.)  haha.  She's the happiest baby I've ever met.

Next up...Christmas.

This past weekend went by so fast.  But was well worth.

First Kyle and me went to the annual Big Brothers and Big Sisters Halloween party.  We played games, had some free Panda Express and just had a good time all around.

Afterwards went to Cirque De Sole - Corteo at the Forum in Inglewood with Edwin, Jessica and Kara.
First half was much better than the second half.  Good show overall though.

Then dinner with and drinks with friends and family.  Breakfast with the HS gang and off she went back to SF.

This weekend.  Just a whole lot of this good stuff.

CONGRATULATIONS MARY.  The Domino Effect has begun.

On my way to work I got to thinking.  I enjoy my life and feel extremely blessed and grateful to God for everything.  Yet I couldn't help thinking that I should never take anything for granted as it could all be so easily taken away from me.  Another thought was that as much as I have been blessed with nice things I have to remind myself that they are just that, "Things."  And that I should never associate too much pride/joy in them because at the end of the day if I were to lose it all I'll be just fine.  I was fine before, without them, and I'll be fine after they are gone.
